* Update COVID-19 *

We are closely monitoring and continuing to take COVID-19 seriously. In light of recent national and state guidance we have made the following changes to our appointment protocols:

• At this time we will be offering appointments to urgent/emergency cases.

• For the safety of our clients and staff we will no longer be allowing clients into the building.

• Clients must call upon arrival to their appointment from the parking lot. They will be greeted in the parking lot by a technician who will bring their pet into the hospital for treatment. The doctor will discuss the appointment and plan with owners via phonecall.

• Please follow the same protocol for medication refills and food pickups. Please call from your car and we will bring medications and food out to you.

We will be operating our normal business hours. Please feel free to call with any questions or concerns.

If you are experiencing any signs of respiratory or flulike illness, please send a healthy representative to meet with our veterinarians. If possible limit visits to one owner.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience.

To our Healthy Paws Veterinary Center guests,

As public health officials respond to the spread of the COVID-19 strain of Coronavirus, we want to assure you we are taking it very seriously and have set protocols in place to prevent the spread of this virus in our facility. The safety and health of our clients, employees and patients is our top priority. As of now we are still operating normal business hours.

To avoid the spread of COVID-19, we have significantly increased our cleaning protocols and continue to remain diligent about sanitation.

If you are worried about visiting the hospital please call us to discuss alternative arrangements.

If you do get sick with flu symptoms, you should stay home and avoid contact with other people except to get medical care. The CDC recommends that you stay home for at least 24 hours after your fever is gone except to get medical care or other necessities.

If you are diagnosed and or on self-quarantine with the Coronavirus and your pet is in need of medical assistance, call us. We will set a plan in place to avoid infecting others, while we work with you to accommodate your pets medical needs.

We will continue to monitor the situation and will update you should conditions change. We will adhere to the direction of local authorities and the CDC on making sure our facility is kept clean and open. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe environment for everyone who visits and works within Healthy Paws Veterinary Center.

Regards,

Healthy Paws Veterinary Center
